Excellent Quality

First indicators of quality: (1) The tether cord is mounted on a pivot joint mount to eliminate strain on the cord as the float cycles up and down. (2) It’s almost silent. Enough that I bought a Shelly energy monitoring smart plug that records cycle history so I know that it’s working. (3) It only uses 450 watts per the Shelley plug measurement and to me that level of efficiency is an indicator that it’s a good design. The only thing I don’t like is that the switch isn’t a piggyback type. Because of this, I went with a Flotec FPZS25T for the backup unit in the same pit. The Flotec has a piggyback so I can run/ test it once a month since the backup pump doesn’t run during normal operation. I went with 1/4 hp on both because one keeps up fine, and works great with my 750 watt Tripp Lite automatic backup inverter that I use for battery backup.

Great pump. Very quite. Have used other brands from the big box stores 1/3hp and 1/2 hp. This pump dumps out the water the same if not better. Very quite. Good warranty. Will buy again to have a spare for later.

Got this pump to replace one of a different brand that was starting to have intermittent problems. Installation was basic and straight forward. It pumps much faster than the old one and it runs very quiet to the point I can barely hear it run. If I had the funds I would replace the other 2 with these pumps so I wouldn’t hear them run anymore.

Ordered this pump for a crawl space and french drain basin. Have had a lot of rain so far and pump has no problem keeping up with the amount of water. Has only been installed for a couple weeks now, but seems to be a great pump for the job.

The pump was easy to install. It operates quietly which is important to me since it is located in a room adjacent to our guest bedroom. I wanted /needed a smaller capacity pump and they are not generally available in the big box stores. I'm glad I found Sump Pumps Direct.

Installed as a laundry pump for the washing machine. Seems to be a quality pump. Very quiet and quickly empties basin. Expect many years of service from this one. On time delivery as alway from Sump Pumps Direct!

I was looking for a pump that would operate at a lower amp rating as I had a washing machine running on the same circuit. I verified with a meter the amp rating and it matched the specification. I have been using it for about a month and so far so good.
