I’ve installed 4 of these now and am very satisfied. Other than occasional wifi disconnections (not the thermostats’ faults) the experience has been excellent. The interface is simple yet very flexible and powerful. Ecobee’s support us to-notch. Highly recommended.

This is my second smart thermostat after having a Nest for the past 4 years. I'm really digging this Ecobee which has Alexa integrated into it. The only problem is that sometimes I'll holler a command at my Alexa Echo, and the Ecobee Alexa will pick up my voice and do the same thing as the Echo, such as play a Sirius radio station, but not synced up. I also wish the Ecobee and Nest could be programmed to turn on and off on an exact schedule. Right now, the only scheduling is temperature-based where it allows you to hit your temperature targets during certain times. I just wish I could program it to turn on for 5 minutes each hour at night. Other than that, it's a pretty damn good piece of electronic wizardry. It beats having an old thermostat and waking up in the middle of the night to turn it on or off.

I had Google Nest before this, and prefer this thermostat with the smart sensors. Super easy to set up and the smart sensors make a huge difference in controlling temperature in different parts of the house.

I had replaced my HVAC and they installed an ecobee 3 lite PRO which I have enjoyed! I like the data I can retrieve from ecobee to assess my home's temperature balance made even more explicit after I purchased this SmartThermostat with its SmartSensor. I positioned the SmartSensor in different rooms to assess air balance (via temperature swings).
I bought this SmartThermostat to use in my basement where I am considering adding a whole-house dehumidifier which can be controlled as an accessory by this ecobee (but not on the modest ecobee 3 lite PRO). The HVAC installer stressed the importance of controlling humidity and I've been monitoring it on the ecobee website!
I have not bought into the Alexis thing... apparently it's fully integrated with several automation platforms - but I'm not :-0 so I just use the WiFi connection and the app.
The staff at ecobee is really well trained, know their products well and explain issues really clearly! This is a welcome site in these days of overseas customer service contracting.

I installed the Ecobee Smart Thermostat Pro-WiFi 4H/2C- 7 Day Programmable- Voice Control- Homekit & Alexa Enabled in my Arizona home.
This thermostat is a technical marvel and is artistically designed to look fantastic on any wall. The included installation guides and the manual (available on-line for download) made it very easy for me to install and get the thermostat up & running.
The Ecobee phone application and ability to log into the device from my laptop computer is flawless and I check into my winter home remotely quite often from across the country.
I had reviewed the Nest thermostats and the Ecobee was my first choice. Everyone should do a thorough investigation of this amazing product before possibly making an impulsive decision to go with a Nest thermostat.
