About Natural Gas & Propane Furnaces
Find the perfect natural gas or propane furnace today! We offer several ways to sort our furnaces depending on your needs and priorities.
Shop by Brand:
We carry Goodman, Williams, Revolv, and Rinnai furnaces.
Shop by AFUE:
AFUE stands for “Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency” and measures furnace efficiency. On new equipment, AFUE can range between 80% (the federally mandated minimum) and 98%. The higher end of this range contains “high-efficiency” furnaces.
Shop by Stage:
Furnace burners are designed to operate in one of three ways: single-stage, two-stage, and modulating.
- A furnace using a single-stage burner has only two operating modes, on or off. Single-stage furnaces will always operate at the rated capacity regardless of conditions inside or outside of the home. This can lead to lower efficiency when outside temperatures are mild.
Two-stage burners are more efficient than single-stage ones because they have three heating modes: off, low-fire, and high-fire, which can be used depending on demand.
- Modulating furnaces have a minimum and maximum heating capacity but can operate at almost any point within this range for ultimate efficiency.
Shop by Heating BTU:
BTUs represent a furnace's heating power. An undersized furnace, in terms of BTUs, will not heat your building effectively, while an oversized one will waste energy and money. Contact eComfort or talk with your installer about how to size your furnace properly.
Shop by Application:
We offer traditional furnaces, wall furnaces, and furnaces designed for mobile homes. We also offer low NOx furnaces, which produce fewer emissions and are required in certain states, like California. Learn more about low NOx equipment.
Shop by Orientation:
Furnaces come in various orientations to satisfy different installation conditions. The most common orientations available are upflow, downflow, and horizontal.
- Upflow systems are commonly used when the furnace is installed in the basement or in a closet.
- Downflow furnaces are used in applications where ductwork is installed below the furnace, like in most mobile homes.
- Horizontally oriented furnaces are typically used in attics, crawlspaces, and other areas with limited height.
We also offer natural gas or propane furnaces in kits for air conditioning, heat pumps, and packaged units.
