- Goodman's evaporator coils use a reliable all-aluminum design featuring sine fins and grooved tubes. This design maximizes surface area and optimizes heat transfer for efficient comfort.
- Secure Cabinet
- A galvanized, embossed, and insulated cabinet protects this coil and prevents air leakage, providing superior longevity and efficiency.
- Condensate Management
- The CHPF features foil-faced insulation to inhibit the formation of condensate and a rust-resistant thermoplastic drain pan to capture what does form, keeping your system safe and operational.
- Multi-Refrigerant Compatibility
- R-22 refrigerant is no longer in production, but many older systems still use it. The CHPF is compatible with both R-22 and its replacement, R-410A. This makes it the perfect fit for any homeowner.

My AC has been leaking for 8 of the 9 years I've owned my home. Until last year, no one could find the leak and the constant refills on coolant were pretty expensive. Finally, someone showed me the rusted, yucky version I had of this A coil and it set off their detector loud and clear. His cost for the part was nearly twice the cost of this so he recommended I purchase it online. It's now installed and the leak issue has been resolved. So glad I found this part at E Comfort!

I'm a GC but my personal AC coil was leaking and every contractor I talked to said I needed to replace my entire unit because the coil wasn't available. eComfort to the rescue! They shipped the coil and my guys were able to install it and I saved thousands over the cost of a new AC.
It's been about 6 months now and everything is working great. All my neighbors have the same systems so I always tell them to buy the coil from eComfort instead of replacing their whole unit.

I am a DIY guy without any prior experience on HVAC before. Original 2.5 Ton Carrier system was installed 10 years before by a local AC contractor with the new home. Micro leak happened on 5th year and then Freon refilled 3 times to bring it back until it no longer repairable this summer. Tired with contractor's pricing quote games for $2.2-2.5K to replace only the coil. I decided to learn and replace the coil myself. Goodman is the only OEM is selling HVAC equipment on open market as you knew. I have no other choice but bought this CHPF3636B6 from eComfort to match the original Carrier coil. Purchasing experience was smooth without any issue. This Goodman coil looked "good" on workmanship without any issue during the installation, grazing, leak testing,..., etc. Finally, charged the system and tested whole day yesterday and it is still running normally. I would say "so far so good". I guess Goodman decided this open marketing strategy with confidence of product reliability and user friendly for maybe DIY guys like me. However, the reliability can be proved only by timing. Hopefully, I can go back to update my review 5 or even 10 years later?!
