Product Features
Advanced Coil Design
The coils of the GSZ140301 and ARUF29B14 feature aluminum fins and grooved tubing. This design maximizes surface area and optimizes heat transfer for efficient comfort.
High-Efficiency Compressor
This unit utilizes a high-efficiency scroll compressor to provide refrigerant flow. Scroll compressors are renowned for operating more smoothly and reliably than traditional compressors.
Intelligent Circulation
By scaling the airflow to the demands and challenges of your home, the advanced variable speed blower motor in the ARUF provides ideal circulation in nearly any application while using less energy than traditional motors.
Quiet Comfort
Goodman takes great pride in providing comfort that doesn't disrupt your home. The wire fan discharge grille and condenser fan motor of the GSZ140301 were designed to reduce noise levels without compromising performance. This model also has a high-capacity discharge muffler and a high-density foam sound blanket, which curtail vibrational and compressor noise, respectively.
SmartShift
Goodman's SmartShift technology, combined with ambient and coil temperature sensors, gives the GSZ140301 heat pump a quiet and effective defrost system. SmartShift also helps to prevent short-cycling, increasing the efficiency of defrost operations.
Dehumidification
Goodman's air handlers make it easy to stay cool. The ARUF is designed to remove moisture from the air, letting you feel cool at higher temperatures.
SmartFrame
This air handler features Goodman's SmartFrame sub-structure for enhanced accessibility. It provides tool-less access to the filter rack and includes a coil mounting track that improves installation speed for all four compatible orientations.
Secure Cabinet
Both components in this system possess a durable cabinet designed to improve the longevity of the system. Additionally, the ARUF29B14's cabinet is reinforced to prevent air and sound leakage.
