Features

A Goodman central air and furnace kit is the perfect way to update your home's HVAC system. This kit contains a GSX14 air conditioner, a GCVC96 furnace, and a cased CAPFA evaporator coil making it the ideal solution for most parts of the country. It's the perfect kit for areas that use an average amount of cooling but want a multi-speed furnace for the long cold winters. Each of these components is designed with a focus on ease-of-installation and durability to provide you with upfront and long-term value. If you're looking for a complete comfort solution backed by superior craftsmanship, the Goodman GSX140191 GCVC960403BN CAPFA1818B6 TXV air conditioner and furnace kit fits the bill perfectly.
  • Energy Efficient ECM Motor
  • PSC blower motors are energy hogs. The variable speed ECM motor in the GCVC96 provides more efficient, more intelligent airflow for your home.
  • Advanced Coil Design
  • The condenser coil of this air conditioner is designed with aluminum fins and rifled copper tubing to maximize efficiency. The fins and rifling serve to increase surface area, allowing the heat transfer capabilities of the materials to shine.
  • Filter Drier
  • A filter drier is installed in the liquid line of this air conditioner. It serves two important purposes: removing moisture and trapping impurities. This prevents corrosion, freezing, and blockages that can negatively impact the operation.
  • Advanced Heat Exchanger Design
  • The GCVC96 furnace employs a reliable dual-diameter tubular heat exchanger design. Aluminized steel is used in construction for incredibly efficient heat transfer, and a wrinkle-bend is applied to the tubes to enhance the heat exchanger's dependability.
  • High-Efficiency Compressor
  • This unit utilizes a high-efficiency scroll compressor to provide refrigerant flow. Scroll compressors are renowned for operating more smoothly and reliably than traditional compressors.
  • Secondary Heat Exchanger
  • This furnace produces additional heat without using more fuel by directing combustion gases through a secondary heat exchanger before they are vented.
  • Venting Options
  • The GCVC96 offers several venting options to streamline installation in a variety of applications. It can be used in either a two-pipe direct vent setup or a single-pipe configuration with combustion air provided from within your home.
  • All-Aluminum Coil
  • Goodman's evaporator coils use a reliable all-aluminum design featuring sine fins and grooved tubes. This design maximizes surface area and optimizes heat transfer for efficient comfort.
  • Extended Warranty
  • Goodman offers a 10-year limited parts warranty when you register your product online within 60 days of installation. An unregistered product has the standard 5-year warranty. See warranty sheet under the "Manuals" tab for more information.
  • Product Includes
    • (1) Goodman GCVC96 - 40k BTU - Two-Stage Gas Furnace - 96% AFUE (GCVC960403BN)

    Product Note
The recommended line set size for this system will vary based on the length of line set you require for installation. Compatible line sets can be found under the "Recommended Accessories" tab. NOTE: Model GCVC960403BN has been temporarily suspended from production. NOTE: Due to DOE regulations, as of January 1st this unit can no longer be installed in the southwest and southeast DOE regions. As of December 9th, 2022, we will no longer be selling 14 SEER and 16 SEER unitary products to the DOE Southern Region to comply with updated SEER2 Federal Regulations.
