- Jet Cool
- These LG mini split indoor units feature a Jet Cool operation mode for rapid cooling. In this mode, an indoor unit observes a set point of 64 degrees Fahrenheit while the fan operates at maximum speed for 30 minutes to quickly cool your zone.
- Swirl Wind Mode
- Exclusive to ceiling cassette models is Swirl Wind, which automates both air flow direction and fan speed to produce steady comfort throughout any zone.
- Improved Air Quality
- These mini split indoor units include anti-fungal filters to keep your air clean. These filters capture contaminants like dust and bacteria, and they are washable to ensure long term air quality.
- Dehumidify
- LG's multi-zone indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.
- Hot Start
- When the hot start function is enabled on a mini split indoor unit, the fan will not engage until the outdoor condenser has had the opportunity to warm the indoor coil. This prevents the unit from blowing cold air during heating operations.
- Supply Air Branch Duct Connections
- LG cassette units feature designated cutouts for a branch duct, giving you the ability to duct up to 1/2 of the unit's airflow capacity to adjacent spaces.

- Line Set - This double insulated tubing transfers refrigerant efficiently between your outdoor condenser and indoor units.
- Drain Tubing - Drain tubing facilitates the reliable and effective removal of condensate from your system. It connects your indoor units to drain locations of your choosing. We recommend locally purchased PVC hard pipe for the condensate drain on cassette and concealed duct units.
- Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.
- Connecting Wire - This durable, insulated wire provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser.
- Base Pan Heater - The base pan heater prevents ice from building up on the outdoor unit. Excessive ice build will lead to performance issues and could damage your unit.
- Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris.

This ceiling cassette ductless heat pump system pairs a powerful LMU363HV outdoor condenser with very efficient ceiling cassette indoor units. LG's Multi F ceiling cassette indoor units feature four air outlets which allow them to provide consistent air flow to the farthest reaches of large rooms. In addition to providing excellent coverage, the ceiling cassette indoor units also feature an exceptionally low profile. When installed, a grille less than 1" thick is the only visible clue that your room is receiving efficient heating and cooling from a ductless heat pump system.

The LG ceiling cassette 4 zone system has been excellent for my home. I needed a system to provide 2 zones of cooling and heating in my existing home and allow for 2 zones in a planned addition. All parts arrived in good shape. No damage. I (64 years old) installed the system myself. Follow the instructions and requirements. Think a little. Not a problem. After installation I had a local HVAC company come out and check all connections and do the startup. The system works great. Very quite running.

I'm not a fan of making reviews on "major" product purchases in the first year, primarily because it is very difficult to know the long term reliability and functionality of an item like this just after it has been installed. However, with that said, so far so great! Love this system. Quite, Efficient, and more than I expected. Based on the first 2 months, I would recommend this.

This installation took me two weeks. The condenser required 220 V so we hired an electrician to run the 220. Many holes in the drywall to run the lines and the 220. Had a excellent painter who repaired the drywall and painted . Most importantly the plumber, who ran the refrigeration lines hooked up the system, tested it and finished installation Very happy with the results. EComfort was excellent, dealt with Bob, who walked me through what I needed and was very patient with me. Only made one mistake on the order, one line was too short so had to buy another from a local store. Very happy with the system and very quiet outside. Five star rating!!

It is impossible to say maybe so at this point, I'd say depends not no.
I bought this system from a supplier and have found support sometimes good and others seemed to be the person was reading the same documentation I already had. The reason I called was the documentation is not always very helpful and misses a lot.
e.g.
There is nothing regarding how to connect the condensate lines to the units except to do it. There is a lot about making sure they drain, but really. That makes obvious sense. Tell me something I don't know. I had to figure out how to fit PVC piping to the supplied part. No existing part seems to fit easily into the supplied piece.
It is clear that many of the support people have never worked on these units.
Unless your house was built in recent years, installing the ceiling cassettes is an adventure. In fact, there are no instructions for installing them in old construction with 16 inch center ceiling joists. I had to work out my own plan. Also, I figured out how to use carriage bolts instead of the recommended hanger bolts.
The system looks relatively easy to plug and play. Despite taking great care in attaching all the flare fittings properly. I have two units with leaks at the flares. An AC tech came and suggest a fix, which he will do. He says he can't number all the systems that come with factory packaged tubing with flare nuts already installed that he finds leaks.
Finally, the operational instructions lack sufficient info. e.g. There are no instructions about the "Function" settings on the remote control. There are also no instructions regarding the various lights on the Decorative Panel that goes over the ceiling unit that is more than just decorative. Without it, one cannot run the unit to see if it will work.
Also, the photos showing how to connect the wiring from the panel to the unit are so small as to be impossible to make out and one has to figure out the color coding. Then what to do with the other wires that are there. Nothing says what they are for. The customer support guy says, "They are for accessories" What accessories? "Well, you can get heat strips." And where do we get the accessories? No answer or guidance.
I bought this system from a supplier and have found support sometimes good and others seemed to be the person was reading the same documentation I already had. The reason I called was the documentation is not always very helpful and misses a lot.
e.g.
There is nothing regarding how to connect the condensate lines to the units except to do it. There is a lot about making sure they drain, but really. That makes obvious sense. Tell me something I don't know. I had to figure out how to fit PVC piping to the supplied part. No existing part seems to fit easily into the supplied piece.
It is clear that many of the support people have never worked on these units.
Unless your house was built in recent years, installing the ceiling cassettes is an adventure. In fact, there are no instructions for installing them in old construction with 16 inch center ceiling joists. I had to work out my own plan. Also, I figured out how to use carriage bolts instead of the recommended hanger bolts.
The system looks relatively easy to plug and play. Despite taking great care in attaching all the flare fittings properly. I have two units with leaks at the flares. An AC tech came and suggest a fix, which he will do. He says he can't number all the systems that come with factory packaged tubing with flare nuts already installed that he finds leaks.
Finally, the operational instructions lack sufficient info. e.g. There are no instructions about the "Function" settings on the remote control.
